Thanks to its small size and early maturity, this outstanding variety is ideal for growing in containers, pots, or small garden beds. The plant produces numerous elongated fruits of a classic dark purple color.
Characteristics:

* Color and Size: Dark purple, elongated fruits (about 10 cm long).
* Plant Height: Compact, growing up to 60 cm tall.

This variety originates from Russia. It gets its name from the southern city of Astrakhan, which is famous for its rich traditions in breeding vegetables and melons.
Cultivation Advice (Agrotechnics):
Sow eggplant seeds for seedlings in late February or early March.
Maintain the temperature at +25..+28°C until germination. After the seedlings emerge, it is crucial to lower the temperature to +18°C during the day and no lower than +14°C at night (to prevent them from stretching).
Prick out the seedlings when they have 1-2 true leaves. Transplant outdoors or into a greenhouse only after all danger of frost has passed. Planting density is up to 5 plants per 1 sq.m.
Further care involves regular feeding, weeding, and careful loosening of the soil.
